If you’re looking for a Good Cajun Meal, and not just the typical cuisine, but the camp-on-the-bayou style, Cajun Works is the place you’re looking for. Toby Kimball, owner, and chef has been cooking up traditional Cajun food for the past ten years, when he opened his original restaurant, Cajun Corner, in Krotz Springs, LA. He was inspired to share his love of traditional Cajun cuisine, as cooking food together is one of the typical ways to spend time with family and friends in the south. Once he realized he wanted to share this experience through the pleasure of delicious food, he decided to open his first location, even without any business knowledge. This became a respected learning experience for him, as he not only was able to do what he loved every day but also build connections with people to help him move forward in his business.

Toby also does what he can to not only make his dining experience about the traditional food but also involve the history of his family and the Acadians. With time lines and family history stories hanging around his cafe, it’s hard not to get caught up in the mystery and excitement of the movement of Acadian culture to where we are today.

Cajun Works, with locations in Breaux Bridge LA and Krotz Springs LA, is a fast-casual Cajun Restaurant on the outskirts of Acadiana. We are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. We offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery. Our menu is filled with traditional Louisiana Foods, such as crawfish etouffée, boiled crawfish, gumbo, red beans and rice, boudin balls, cracklins and even some healthier options. We are a kid friendly restaurant offering delicious options and specials for the little ones. Cajun Works is a business that is proud of the Cajun Culture, and we are looking forward to sharing that experience with you, through our delicious food and atmosphere and experience of a life time!!!

Our History
